CARE GUIDE
To preserve the exceptional quality, softness and longevity of fine natural fibres, careful care is essential. This Care Guide will help you do so.
The most important key to proper care is the care label. Please observe the instructions given there.
SEPARATE AND TURN
Separate white and colored bed linen. Never wash bed linen with jeans, terry cloth, and coarse fabrics. The resulting friction can damage the fabric.
Turn duvet and pillow covers inside out for washing and close the fasteners.
WASH
Do not overload the washing machine – sufficient space inside the drum is essential for gentle and thorough cleaning.
Unless otherwise stated, a washing temperature of 30 – 40 °C is recommended. Higher temperatures should only be used for fabrics explicitly suitable for them.
Mild, liquid detergents, free of bleaches, optical brighteners, and harsh additives, are particularly suitable. Avoid using fabric softener when washing; this not only protects the environment but also your textiles. Pay attention to the correct dosage.
After the wash cycle, remove the laundry immediately, shake it out, and prepare it for drying.
DRYING AND IRONING
Most creases occur when textiles remain damp for too long or dry unevenly.
Hang the laundry smoothly and evenly. If you use a dryer, always follow the instructions on the care label. Lower temperatures are preferable.
For optimal results, it is advisable to remove the laundry slightly damp and then iron it.
Always observe the recommended ironing temperature on the care label.
Direct sunlight should generally be avoided when drying, as it can fade colors and yellow light fabrics.
STORE
Only store your laundry when it is completely clean and dry.
Fold the textiles loosely and store them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated room.
Avoid plastic boxes or airtight bags – natural fibers need to breathe.
Protect your laundry from direct light.
With careful and loving care, your bed linen will accompany you for a long time, preserving its beauty, comfort, and special quality.
